I dreamed that dream again I have been for the past several weeks You know, that nightmare I keep having You laid motionless on the floor It was from all those years of pain You just couldn't take anymore And I broke down and cried My friend, my best friend Has just died I screamed out your name As they covered you up As the paramedics took you away And I would never be the same On that fateful day And yet as I wake up from every night You're still here.
